The National Network of CAPC and CPNP Projects provides leadership to facilitate an interconnected and coordinated system of Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) and Canadian Prenatal & Nutrition Program (CPNP) programs across the country. These community based programs are funded federally through the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). The National Network consists of a CAPC and CPNP representative from each province/region.
Objectives:
- To create a forum for information sharing among CAPC and CPNP groups across Canada.
- To explore strategic opportunities for collaboration and partnering on a national level.
- To provide an avenue for raising awareness of emerging issues or areas of common concern as they pertain to vulnerable children and families, or the work of CAPC & CPNP.
- To provide the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) National Office with national perspectives on issues, policy development or other important topics that relate to CAPC and CPNP groups.
